Transzoia Residents have been shocked by news that Senator Allan Kiprotich Chesang has admitted to fraud and washwash charges and was ready to repay the millions he defrauded.
Chesang who told the court that he was ready to Pay the Sh25million he alledgly conned a foreigner is seeking to have the matter withdrawn, he faces other charges related to business and gold fraud cases.
Taking to social media accounts, Kenyans and residents of Transzoia have been shocked by the development.

” He speaks of corruption, insulting the governor and here he is,” said Abiut Juma.
Another Residents added, so this is the man who has been moving in western Kenya insulting Governor Natembeya of being corrupt. See now, he is even trying to evade jail by promising to repay the money,” another resident added.
Another one said, ” allan Chesang is a typical corrupt and wash wash dealer who will never change. Conning people and playing victim,”.

Chesang’s case is before Milimani Magistrate Dolphina Alega who has directed him to repay back the money he conned and report back to the court
